Urban Enviroscapes was founded in January 2009 after co-founders Andy Camp and James Young won a competition in Seoul, South Korea based on their innovative designs.
Since then, Urban Enviroscapes has added professionals to the team and further developed their products, which are currently changing the market for green roofing and urban landscaping.

Mr. Camp has been hailed as a top innovator of his time, winning many awards around the nation. As President of Urban Enviroscapes, he continues to lead the company to new heights.
Andy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Technology and Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has work experience with BP, Procter & Gamble, Kimberly-Clark, and the US Geological Survey.

Mr. Young is leading the company’s research efforts, mainly on the University of Illinois campus. This research has led to the development of new agricultural systems that will be for sale coming Spring 2011.
James has a Bachelor of Science degreen in Materials Science and Engineering with a minor in Technology and Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has experience doing research for the DoE at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as well as State Farm, Kimberly-Clark, and the Siebel Foundation.
